Consequences of incorporating an LLP without visiting the Republic of Kazakhstan

The procedure for establishing an LLP by a non-resident in the Republic of Kazakhstan differs from that provided for residents and includes a number of mandatory preparatory steps. Before the direct registration of the company, a foreign national must:

• obtain an Individual Identification Number (IIN);
• obtain a C5 visa (for non-residents from outside the EAEU) or a temporary residence permit (TRP) — for citizens of the EAEU.
